Mustang Cantina in Goliad is looking to fill both experienced COOK, SERVER and BARTENDER positions.

All are required responsibilities:

Have a restaurant, team first approach to their position

Create/Serve a product that incorporates the utmost Quality both in appearance and taste

Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Cooks:
-
Answer, report and follow manager and head cook’s direction
-
Set up and prepare stations with all necessary supplies
-
Handle all product with strict food safety guidelines
-
Prepare each dish to specification* so guests get the same experience each visit
*The same ingredients, cook procedures and plate presentation -
Keep work station and kitchen clean and orderly at all times
-
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Servers:
-
Answer, report and follow manager’s direction
-
From “Welcome to Mustang Cantina”, greet guests and treat them with world class courtesy
-
Be knowledgeable of the food items, wine, and drinks to suggestively sell product to the guests

Take food and beverage orders, repeat back to guest for accuracy and then enter orders in POS system
-
Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
-
Monitor guest’s dining experience and ensure they are satisfied with food and service
-
Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
-
Ensure all drinks are to specification and all plate presentations are correct for each guest
-
Prepare final bill, present check, take payment, process credit card or make change
-
Understand and take part in tip share
Bartenders:
-
All of the Servers requirements
-
You are responsible to make drinks to specification each time. (No over pours and no under pours)

You are responsible for all merchandise behind the bar and must keep accurate inventory
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience preferred
-
Current food handler permit
-
Current TABC certification
-
Transportation
-
Ability to stand for long periods of time
-
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs
